Chicken Buses

Chicken Buses are old U.S. school buses that have been painted bright colors. They serve as the main means of transportation for many people here in Guatemala. They will pack 3 or 4 Guatemalans into one seat built for 2 children. Then they´ll pack hundreds more people in them standing up. When taking one for severań hours it can be quite uncomftorble. Additionally the drivers like to go as fast as humanely possible and to pass people on blind curves on mountain passes with thousand foot drops off the side of the small poorly kept road! I like photographing them because they are so colorful!
